Founder and CEO, De-tread, LLC, graduate of Olivet College and lifelong Detroiter, whose commitment and love for the city and its surrounding communities, called her to creative action. Audra has 20 years experience in the corporate arena where she honed her mentoring, project implementation | management skills and process improvement strategies. The company was born out of the need to reverse the cycle of the use of forgotten streets and neighborhoods as dump sites for vehicle tires.

The vision for De-tread has since morphed into a rubber recycling enterprise that is environmentally respectful, socially responsible and inherently sustainable. As a creative thinker and natural problem solver, Audra knows that collaboration is paramount not only for the success of De-tread but for the Southeast Michigan region as a whole. De-tread will partner with our internal team members, our community, the creative class of fine artists, designers, and recyclers from other industries on the development of consumer products that will have a global impact.
